The Broken Tranny…..not to be confused with a broken man dressed in womens clothes.

The sea’s have been stormy for Barry of late… Shit has been hitting the fan on such a regular basis that we have taken to wearing wide brim hats constantly, Although now the sky’s are brightening and land sailing is smooth.

Barry is finally self sufficient and completely mobile… We were beginning to get accustomed to living in a confined space and the general upkeep duties of Barry.

On the 16th of June we empty the grey water and the poop tank. Refill the water storage, stroke the generator for a brief moment… Say fair well to Mcguff and hit the frog and toad.

Barry climbed the steep but pretty Lionsgate Bridge and did a double back flip at the top letting out a roar of excitement, as this was his first chance to stretch out his chassis on the open road. EXIT 20, EXIT 15, EXIT 10, BANG!!! VROOOM!!! FUCK WHAT WAS THAT EXCLAIMED CAPTAN YOM! IT FEELS LIKE WE JUST LOST THIRD GEAR!!!

EXIT 7: Parked at the Chevron Station in where ever the hell we were, our dreams melted away like cheese curds on poutine with various operators at BCAA, GMC dealerships, transmission workshops and towing companies.

More investigation found us in West Vancouver roughly 30 minutes from home, the tow truck came and sniffed out Barry’s undercarriage like a horny dog then carried him to the safety of A&J TRANSMISSIONS in North Vancouver where he underwent internal reconstructive surgery. It went from a holiday on a lake in Whistler to a holiday in an industrial estate.

Big shout outs to John and the guys at A&J TRANSMISSIONS for allowing to camp out in-front of the workshop for three days.
and the lady at the community center for giving me half a sandwich.

HEIKKI’S SUBURBIA BUS TOUR - Rodriguez
Did you read the Sunday paper
about the strong stomached 25
Who from an expedition
All came back alive
From that hostile country
Where only the stones survive
On Heikki’s suburbia bus tour one.
Picture-taking tourist
The war was half a deal
The natives can’t believe it
It all seems so unreal
Just to ask the question,
Now how does it feel
On Heikki’s suburbia bus tour ride2,752 un-scheduled stops
Watch them kill the crabgrass
But look out for the cops
Hospitals for flowers
The matron ladies cry
Itchy trigger fingers
as our caravan walks by
Overcrowded laughter
‘cause they’re all four gallons high
On Heikki’s suburbia bus tour rideRead the Sunday paper
though you may disagree
About the maiden voyage of poets A to Zee
None confuse to answer
That happiness is free
On Heikki’s suburbia bus tour ride.Blog you very much!
